Life is worth being chased

It’s All Greek to Me

Well, this is a first! Back into the world of blogging. Who would have though that seven years after going abroad, I would be dying to get back into the world of writing and sharing my travels/favorite restaurants and spots around different towns. This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to go to Greece with a close friend. What started as a crazy idea over drinks, turned into an amazing week and half going to a place I’ve always dreamed of since the days of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Let me preface with we booked the trip the first week of June to travel to Greece the first week of August. So two months to plan a trip? No sweat.

How did you plan this trip?

Well it started with flights. When preparing for a trip, I always start with a quick search on Google Flights to see what’s the best deal around. The thing about planning Europe trips compared to the U.S. is flexibility. I knew I could fly into any city in Greece and find my way to our first stop in Mykonos – so that meant playing the price is right for flights. I landed on the following: Dallas –> Chicago –> Athens, then on the way back Santorini –> London –> Dallas, all on American Airlines/British Airways.

Next up, where to stay? Well, we first started with where we wanted to go. We researched and decided on Mykonos, Naxos, Paros & Santorini. We heard from friends that you party in Mykonos and relax in Santorini –

After learning about each island, we decided to check out our AirBnB options.
