Just a girl who loves to write and share some of her favorite things with the people around her. I created this blog to share my thoughts & recommendations on vacation spots, travel planning, restaurants, entertainment, anything in life that interests me honestly.
A little background on me. I’m a born and raised Dallasite and Texan. Studied Public Relations at the University of Oklahoma. Just moved back to Dallas after living in Oklahoma for ten years (four in Norman and six in OKC). I’m a foodie, traveler, explorer, reader and avid entertainment fan. In my normal day to day life, I live in the corporate world as a learning & development partner, facilitating training classes and project managing the building of training courses and content. The best way to keep up with my life is through my Instagram account, @chasinglifewithmeg.
When naming this blog, I thought for days upon end how to encompass everything I wanted to write about. A dear friend of mine thought of the concept chasing life. It instantly reminded me of one of my favorite quotes I keep on my work computer to motivate me each day. It comes from Matthew McConaughey’s Oscar winning speech for Dallas Buyer’s Club. He said he was always looking for “something to look up to, something to look forward to and another is someone to chase.” I keep this in mind every day to reach goals, make memories and pursue life.
